Within 24 hours you’ll be send a personal reply to all dental treatment email requests. It will consist of your estimated dental treatment quote and a treatment plan which will be formed in several different options, and will contain various treatment ways with different treatment durations and different prices.

After you have received our treatment plan, contact us to arrange the complete dental treatment which will include the organization of your arrival, the duration of the treatment, and the entire arrangement with costs. In most cases, we’re able to treat new dental clients from the UK as soon as tomorrow, however there’s a list of dates here that are already fully booked. A good idea is to find a suitable date that fits you, and check the prices of the flights online.

You’ll receive a full confirmation of treatment email with practical information about your visit, where to eat out, the currency, culture, what to expect, and where you’ll be accommodated.

Our resident driver will provide you a free airport transfer to and from the dental clinic or to your accommodation if you arrive in the late evening.

The journey from Rijeka Airport takes about 20 minutes, from Zagreb Airport about 1,5 hours, from Airport Ljubljana (SLO) 1 hour and from Airport Trieste (IT) also 1 hour, in normal traffic. During the ride our driver will give you answers to all of your questions on local issues.

Although we already know what dental treatment you have opted for, Dr. Grbac will take an up-to-date digital OPG x-ray (free of charge) to help him plan his dental treatment, and will run through the whole procedure with you, answering any last questions you may have about your dental treatment, and offering advice.

We’ll gather data about your medical and dental history. Then one of our dental specialists or a treatment coordinator will perform a thorough examination, recording past dental treatment and the current condition of all teeth and soft tissues. Following your consultation, treatment options and fees will be explained in detail.

A final treatment plan and quotation is then made up by our receptionist whilst you have a cup of tea or coffee, watch TV or surf the internet.

We like to do as much work as possible in each session. Some dental treatment sessions in our clinic can last 2-3 hrs, however just let the dental team know if you need a break.

We use a digitally applied local anaesthetic for the majority of our dental care, creating a painless dental treatment experience.

After each session you’ll be presented with an updated payment sheet detailing the treatment you’ve had and it’s cost. Payment is in £ English pounds although you can pay in € Euros if you prefer. The payment will be calculated at the national bank exchange rate of that given day. We also accept Visa and Mastercard or you can make an internet bank transfer directly in the clinic waiting room.

Before you leave

Before you leave our clinic, we’ll give you advice on how to look after your new teeth. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we’ll ask you to fill in a short questionnaire before your leave, as well as possibly write an independent review of your dental treatment when you get home.

Aftercare

Your dental treatment with dental holiday is fully guaranteed, and in the unlikely case that you should ever have any problems whatsoever you can return and we’ll take a look and replace or repair if necessary. However, you will have to pay for the flights and accommodation if needed.

Just make sure that you visit for the day once a year for a check-up, and find a local dental hygienist that you visit every 6 months to clean up your smile and make sure that your new teeth last for many years to come.

Absolutely no, all you need to visit Croatia is a valid passport.

What’s the currency in Croatia?

The currency is the Croatian Kuna. One Pound is about 9,74 Croatian Kuna. Kuna is the only valid currency in Croatia.
We do suggest that you change your money in Croatia, since you always get a better deal than in any other European country. You can change your money in the airport, in any bank or at various exchanging offices throughout the town.

All the major credit & debit cards are accepted in most of the shops & restaurants. We do, however, advise you to check before you make your purchase. You can also use your cards to draw money from the cash machines, all you need is your PIN number.
