Our favourite doctor lives and works in Rijeka which allows him to enjoy everything that the Kvarner Bay has to offer; plenty of sunshine, beautiful views and rich gastronomic heritage.

The main staple of the local cuisine is seafood, and Dr. Jurica Hodak (he’s our favourite) is a passionate barbecue master, and his favorite way to relax is fiddling around the fire and discussing the best techniques for barbecuing  fish and meats. There is plenty to argue about since everybody in Croatia has it’s own particular idea on the subject.

Mediterranean cuisine, as part of local charm and custom, is as much a matter of debate as it is of practical enjoyment and consumption.
